TransAction FL Intern

Available locations: Orlando

TransAction FL Interns will:

• Assist in local policy initiatives
• Identify supportive business throughout the state
• Collect stories and build relationships with the community
• Assist Transgender Inclusion Director with planning and scheduling of events and speaking engagements
• Assist in completing transgender related grant deliverables
• Engage with statewide TransAction advocacy events and projects
• Help pass statewide non-discrimination bill to protect all LGBT Floridians

Successful candidates should:

• Have event planning and organizing skills
• Have advanced computer software skills (Google, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Webex applications)
• Be organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Research skills and public speaking are preferred, though not required
