August 18th - Equality Florida and The Royal Palms Resort and Spa host Equali-Tea Dance.

August 25th - Hosted a family picnic at Sunset Beach.

September 5th - Attended Tampa's Rock the Park to get the community engaged in the fight for marriage equality in Florida.

Palm Beach County became the first county in the state to approve 'tax equity' for gay, lesbian government employees. To read the story, click here.

Alachua County Commission added sexual orientation and gender identity or expression to the county's Human Rights Ordinance (HRO). Read more here.

Pinellas County Commission voted 6-1 in favor of adding Gender Identity or Expression to the county's Human Rights Ordinance. Read more here.

North Port City Commission voted unanimously to move forward with considering a Domestic Partner Registry.

Osceola County School Board passed a policy creating domestic partner benefits for their teachers and staff.

Wilton Manors Commission established an Equal Benefits Ordinance (EBO). Read more here.

The Sarasota County Commission will consider a Domestic Partnership Registry on October 9th. Click here to email the commissioners.

Send an email to Attorney General Pam Bondi asking her to protect all Florida National Guard troops and their families by allowing same-sex spouses to enroll in Florida to receive important health and housing benefits. Click here to send an email.

Equality Florida calls on Florida Cities to Suspend Relationships with Russian Sister Cities. Sign the petition if you support equality and this call to action.
