Economic Roundtable to Highlight Impact of Workplace Diversity

Florida business leaders discuss ways to bolster the economy by improving
Florida’s national and international reputation as a welcoming place

 

 

WHAT: On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, top business and civic leaders will meet at the Governor’s Club to discuss ways to bolster the economy by improving Florida’s reputation as a welcoming and inclusive place to live, work and visit. Participants include representatives from major corporations that have strong non-discrimination policies, inclusive of sexual orientation and gender identity.

 

WHEN: Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 12:00pm.

 

WHERE: The Governor’s Club, 202 1/2 South Adams St. Tallahassee, FL 32301

 

WHO:  Equality Means Business is hosting the event, with:

·       John Delaney, President of the University of North Florida, will be moderating.

·       Dale Brill, Ph.D., President of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will be presenting on the Six Pillars of Florida’s Future Economy.

·       Nadine Smith, Equality Florida Institute Executive Director, will facilitate.

·       Representatives have been invited from top Florida employers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Citi, Sweetbay, JetBlue, and others.
