VICTORY in LEON COUNTY- By a 5-2 vote, Leon County-home of our state capital- has added a sexual orientation and gender identity inclusive Human Rights Ordinance and added the protections to the county's own personnel policy as well. More than 100 brave and passionate speakers. The culmination of more than a year of work. Way to go team!

What an incredble journey this has been. Leon County steps forward to lead Northwest Florida in Fairness and Equality. Thanks to our supporters across the state for giving us the energy, the drive and the models of policies to follow. Florida can be proud that its capital city respects equality for all its citizens! - Jim VanRiper, Equaltiy Florida Boardmember
