Pulse Partners

On June 12th, 2016 our community was rocked by the Pulse massacre that claimed the lives of 49 victims, the vast majority of whom were LGBTQ people of color. Shock and horror turned to grief and anger, and a deep resilience emerged from survivors, the victims’ loved ones, Orlando residents, and LGBTQ people and our allies around the world.

The Orlando community was buoyed by your generosity, as cities, towns, churches, and families stood with us in our grief. You planned vigils, raised money for the survivors and victims’ families, and committed to combatting hatred of all kinds.

As the one year mark approaches, Orlando’s LGBTQ community invites you to join us once again to #HonorThemWithAction, the national campaign to commemorate the One Year Mark of the Pulse massacre.

Signing on is the first step. We hope that you will use the hashtag #HonorThemWithAction to raise awareness about the work to be done to uproot anti-LGBTQ bias and bigotry. And we encourage you to engage your volunteers and donors, plan a solidarity event in their community, and take personal and collective action to make a difference.

Share with us your plans to #HonorThemWithAction and we will list our partners who have committed to this work with us.

We must ensure the lasting memorial is the real change of uprooting anti-LGBTQ hatred, discrimination and violence in our culture. Thank you for standing with us to do the work of fully addressing and combating hatred wherever it exists.

Sign up here to let us know you’ll partner with us to #HonorThemWithAction, the national campaign to commemorate the One Year Mark of the Pulse massacre.
