Action Alert: Help Pass Domestic Partner Benefits in Miami
This  Thursday the City Commission of Miami will hear the second and final reading of  the City of Miami Domestic Partnership Ordinance.  Our colleagues at Save Dade are leading the effort to pass this critical  ordinance which would provide city employees equal access to insurance for their  families regardless of sexual orientation.  The  City of Miami Domestic Partnership Ordinance is on the Commission Agenda for  Thursday, June 11th. As of today, there is no definite time in which the  ordinance will be heard, but it will be early on the agenda, so plan on arriving  at 9:30 to be sure not to miss it. Please  meet with us, your Equality Florida team, in the Commission Chambers as we  gather to support the efforts of SAVE  Dade and rally around this important ordinance, Thursday, June  11, 2009 at the Miami City Hall-Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, in  Coconut Grove.
