Crist open to ending adoption ban?

Crist is loving his new found freedom as an no party affiliated candidate.

He recently told Time that he would be open to lifting Florida's ban on gay and lesbian adoption. In the interview, Crist said "best decision maker would be a judge" and that changing the law is something we "ought to look at."
Throughout the years Crist has given several different opinions regarding Florida's ban on gay and lesbian adoption. He once said he supported a "live and let live" policy. When he was the Republican nominee for Governor in 2006 he then said he thought the ban should stay in place.
He also indicated his support for civil unions but reiterated his belief is marriage should be between a man and a woman.
Watch the entire interview. The portion regarding the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), civil unions and gay adoption is at the end, starting around 4:22.
