He stood with us. Let's stand with him.
Football star Chris Kluwe has been one of the most outspoken straight allies fighting for LGBT equality. He went “all in” in Minnesota in the successful effort to secure marriage rights. But Kluwe says he paid a price and was fired by the Minnesota Vikings for that effort. Equality Florida is sending Kluwe a note thanking him for standing up and being a forceful, passionate, and fearless voice.
Let him know his voice made a difference by signing your name to Kluwe's "Thank You" note below.
Dear Chris Kluwe,
Thank you for being a leader to all straight allies by standing up for LGBT equality even in the face of adversity. Your voice has not only made a difference in the realm of professional sports, but in providing all straight allies with the courage to stand up and fight for what is right. In your post on the website Deadspin you wrote, "Never be afraid to do what's right. If no one ever says anything, nothing ever changes." These are words we hope to live by and words that continue to inspire us in our fight for full equality.
After signing the thank you note, please share this with your friends on Facebook and Twitter!
