Event #4:

TUESDAY JAN. 6TH 4:30 TO 7PM. PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT Okay, so it you watched any TV last night you learned that Florida Clerks of Court will be issuing marriage licenses on this Tuesday January 6th. In Broward County the clerk is opening the office at 11:30 pm and issuing licenses beginning at 12:01 . Moreover, there will be a group marriage at the courthouse at 3 a.m. My fiancé insists that we must get married then and there as it is an historic event which we should not miss. Therefore: We are getting married at 3 a.m. next Tuesday morning.
CELEBRATE! Given the fact of this momentous moment in this State's history and the history of the fight for equal rights for gays in Florida and the short notice and the thought that we wanted to extend the celebration to the whole world including all our face book friends, the idea of planning a "reception" in the traditional sense was for a moment unmanageable - but last night at dinner at Café Vico's Restaurant and Piano Bar I had a solution! I asked Mr. Vico if his happy hour crew could handle a large crowd of revelers celebrating Gay Marriage in Florida and my marriage in particular at the happy hour time of 4:30 to 7 pm and he enthusiastically embraced the idea.
So anyone and everyone who wishes to drop in at Café Vico's - 1125 N. Federal hwy (coming from the south-the first strip mall on the west side after you take the curve north off Sunrise/Federal) happy hour is from 4:30 to 7 and we will be there having spent the day at the spa at the Atlantic on day 1 as Ms and Ms Picardi Bodiford (or something like that-we have to work out the name change - to do or not to do.) We are off to purchase those wedding bands now. We are looking forward to celebrating with you all.
