Endorsement Process

Endorsement by Equality Florida Action PAC can, but does not always include, meaningful contributions including financial support, in-kind donations of staff and volunteers and communication of support and endorsement with hundreds of thousands of Equality Florida Action PAC members and supporters.

Equality Florida Action PAC Endorsements are made on an ongoing basis so check back regularly for our latest updates. We are a state PAC and do not endorse in Federal Races or Judicial Races. Candidates wishing to be considered for endorsement should fill out our questionnaire at equalityflorida.org/pac/questionnaire.

Our endorsement decisions take into account: Support for LGBT issues and past voting record on those issues; competitiveness of campaign; support from the community; and we place a special emphasis on electing qualified LGBT candidates who bring an all too rare perspective to elected office. In races where multiple candidates meet our criteria, it is possible no endorsement will be made.
