FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - Equality Florida Institute will present its highest honor, The Voice for Equality Award to Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried at the 17th Annual Equality Florida Broward Gala on Saturday, November 9th at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale.

Due to construction around Las Olas and the beach, you're advised to approach from Sunrise, north of the Resort. The posted address is 321 Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, but the entrance to valet and the gala is on Granada St.

So-called “reparative therapy” purports to change a person's sexual orientation or gender identity - but not only is it completely ineffective in actually changing a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity, it puts LGBTQ youth and their families at serious risk.
