Join us for a discussion on employment discrimination

The Capital City Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies (GLBTA) Democratic Caucus will host a panel discussion on employment discrimination against GLBT individuals on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 starting at 6:30pm in the Tallahassee City Hall Main Chamber. 

The panel will be moderated by Tallahassee's James Call and will feature the following distinguished speakers:
  • Representative Kelly Skidmore, Florida House of Representatives (D-90)
  • Mallory Wells, Public Policy Director, Equality Florida
  • Dr. Petra Doan, Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, Florida State University
  • Brandon McKelvey, Doctoral Candidate in Sociology, Florida State University
  • Jeff G. Peters, Esq.
Wednesday's event will be the first in a series of discussions about the status of gay, lesbian, bisexual, 
and transgender civil rights in Florida. The discussion series is entitled "Where is the Love?" and will
attempt to bring together experts and advocates in order to raise public awareness about issues that affect
the GLBT community.
